Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill
Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Muswell Hill, conveniently located at Colney Hatch Lane, just off the A406 North Circular, serviced by the 43, 134 and 634 bus routes. This makes us well located for serving families in the London Borough of Haringey, North London.
Who are we?
We are a private nursery operating as part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped, light and spacious nursery for children aged three months to five years old. Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age, including mobile and non-mobile babies. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged three months to approximately two years , toddlers aged two to three years, and lastly preschool aged three to five years. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to be accessible to every child. Due to our rooms being equipped especially for these ages, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.
Monkey Puzzle Easy Finchley and Monkey Puzzle Muswell Hill are both owned by Paula Murphy and under the Operational Management of Jenny Eracleous.
We’re just around the corner, with lots for you to discover…
- An amazing home from home environment where we guide children’s learning through the Early Years Foundation Stage ensuring they are ready for school
- Extra-curricular activities such as languages, drama and sports, all included in our fees
- Amazing outside area with impact absorbing safety surfacing, high quality play equipment and roof shelter for all seasons play
- Enthusiastic, caring and highly qualified team with each child self-selecting their dedicated key person
Plus so much more. Get in touch today.
Open 8:00am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between Christmas and New Year)
Our Managers
Ryan (Manager) and Liana (Assistant Manager) are the core management team at Muswell Hill. Their role is to deliver consistently high quality education and childcare to all the children in our care. They work very closely with the nursery teachers and external partners to drive standards up. Working in partnership with parents/carers is a crucial part of their work and they are always happy to meet and liaise with parents to ensure your babies and children can thrive.

Happy Easter 🐣 🥰
Small World Tuff Tray 🐛 🐞 🐠
Tuff trays are a great way to contain sensory bases, such as rice, pasta, mud, water and more. The accessibility variations of them also allow babies and young children to sit in them and be immersed with the sensory elements.
PreSchool have been learning about the season Spring, animals and hibernation, and the circle of life of a frog. These are two examples of bringing the children’s learning to life and exploring the children imagination. Not only does it help teach our children about compassion and respect for animals and living things but it can also help to reduce any fears children may have.

Food and nutrition are important to us and we know that a healthy balanced diet is essential to your child’s growth and development. Every day is an opportunity for us to satisfy your child’s appetite with delicious and nutritious meals and snacks, designed with their needs in mind, with a menu planned to broaden their food experiences.
We love to see children’s excitement when presented with a selection of colour, shape, texture, and taste for their mealtimes. It is a privilege to support your children with developing their palate!
At Monkey Puzzle, Muswell Hill, we use this opportunity to really support and promote your child’s independence by allowing them to set up the table, self serving their own food, pouring their own water and clearing their own plate after every meal! #monkeypuzzle #muswellhill #independence #eyfs #muswellhillfamilies ...
