The children at our nursery and preschool in Muswell Hill have been learning about all about bees! We’ve been helping them to understand their world, their habitat, and their life cycle and the important role they play in nature.

While playing and exploring with bees, the children listened to the story of the bee life cycle. The children learned that bees have a sting, they make honey, and that a beekeeper needs to wear a safety suit while collecting the honey. The children also explored the importance of bees pollinating flowers. We’ve had so much fun and the children can’t wait for Spring when they will start seeing bees outside more and more!
